I think we have mainly adjusted to life with 2 kids by now. Miles is almost 2 and 1/2 months old and we seem to be getting our routine down. He is sleeping for most of the night and I finally figured out how to get him to stay down for naps (YAY!). He is such a little snuggle bug and he hates to be left alone, so naps are a BIG development! Clark is back in school, which bums me out, but I guess the sooner he gets it done the sooner we can move on. My dad just gave us his old car (a Subaru Forester) so we could have more space and it has made driving the kids around so much easier! Amazing what a little extra room will do! Speaking of grandpa- Lily recently had her first overnighter at grandma and grandpa’s house. She had a blast and is still talking about it 3 weeks later. There were a few tears in the middle of the first night, but overall I know she’d love to do it again as soon as we would let her.
Lily is always looking for ways to play with Miles and I captured one of these funny moments below. For some reason she decided the two of them needed to lay on the floor with highlighters on their backs. Silly girl!
She has also been enjoying the times that I have to spend feeding Miles and can’t keep as close of an eye on her. Below is one of the (many) times she has gotten into my make up bag…
And here she was entertaining herself with a roll of wrapping paper while I was in the shower. Crazy kid :)
